Beschreibung
Auf den Premierminister von England wird ein Anschlag verübt, bei dem er leicht verletzt wird. Trotzdem reist er nach Frankreich, um an einer wichtigen internationalen Konferenz teilzunehmen. Auf dem Weg dorthin wird er allerdings entführt. Der Meisterdetektiv Poirot wird von Regierungskreisen auf Empfehlung von Chief Inspector Japp hinzugezogen, um den Premierminister zu finden.
