Beschreibung
Für den gläubigen Christen Booth ist es ein Wunder: In einer Papier-Recycling-Anlage tauchen auf einem großen gepressten Papppaket die blutigen Umrisse einer jungen Frau auf. Schon wird spekuliert, ob es sich um das gleiche Wunder wie bei dem Turiner Grabtuch handelt, doch Brennan kann die Sache schnell aufklären: Zwischen den vielen Pappkartonlagen befindet sich die völlig zerquetschte Leiche einer Frau. Muriel Mitsakos stand kurz vor ihrer Hochzeit. Wer hatte so viel Hass auf die Frau, dass er sie kurz vor dem schönsten Tag in ihrem Leben umgebracht hat? Die Ermittlungen zeigen, dass Muriel nicht unbedingt beliebt war. Sie neigte zum Jähzorn. Außerdem war sie aktives Mitglied in einer Single-Börse, und das, obwohl ihre Hochzeit bevorstand.
