    Beschreibung

    Marcus will es als Basketball-Coach in der NBA ganz nach oben schaffen, doch der Co-Trainer legt sich selbst Steine in den Weg. Der Hitzkopf verliert erst bei einem Spiel seines Profi-Teams die Fassung, dann baut er betrunken am Steuer einen Unfall. Die Richterin verurteilt ihn zu Sozialdienst. Marcus soll ein Team, bestehend aus jungen Menschen mit geistiger Behinderung, für ein wichtiges Spiel trainieren. Eine Herausforderung für den cholerischen Ex-Profi. Bobby Farrelly serviert mit dem Remake der auf Tatsachen beruhenden spanischen Komödie "Wir sind Champions" seinen ersten Solo-Film - ohne seinen Bruder Peter Farrelly.
