Beschreibung
Will Smith zieht um...und zwar von den tristen Straßen Philadelphias ins reiche Bel Air nach Los Angeles. Von seiner Mutter rausgeschmissen, kommt er nun bei seiner Tante Vivian Banks und ihrem reichen Clan unter um eine gute Schulausbildung zu erhalten und etwas Anständiges zu lernen. Hier in der großen Villa des Anwalts und späteren Richters Philip Banks prallen nicht nur sprichwörtlich 2 Welten aufeinander. Cousin und Vollzeit-Snob Carlton macht sich oft über die fehlenden Manieren von Will lustig, woraufhin dieser ihm direkt mit Witzen über seine Körpergröße kontert. Obwohl die wohlerzogene Familie Banks und ihr Buttler Geoffrey mit dem Lebensstil des Ghetto Jungen anfänglich nicht richtig umzugehen weiß, lernt der Prinz von Bel Air schnell im neuen Umfeld zurechtzukommen und gleichzeitig sich selbst treu zu bleiben.
