      Beschreibung

      Tracy Lord entstammt einer sehr wohlhabenden Familie und möchte zum zweiten Mal heiraten. Da es sich um "das" gesellschaftliche Ereignis des Jahres handelt, will der Chefredakteur einer Zeitung unbedingt Reporter auf der Hochzeit einschleusen und erpresst dafür Tracys Exmann. Der stimmt schließlich zu, ist aber gar nicht begeistert, als sich plötzlich einer der Reporter für Tracy interessiert.
