    Mitten in den 60er Jahren schlugen The Stooges mit ihrem gewaltigen und energischen Stil wie eine Bombe in die Musiklandschaft ein. Mit ihrem Mix aus Rock, Blues, R&B und Free Jazz hat die Band aus Ann Arbor, Michigan das Musikpublikum quasi überfallen und damit den Grundstein für das gelegt, was später gemeinhin als Punk und Alternative Rock bekannt wurde. Jim Jarmuschs GIMME DANGER ist die Chronik der Geschichte von The Stooges - eine der größten Geschichten des Rock'n'Roll.
