Beschreibung
Crockett, der sich in einer schweren persönlichen Krise befindet, will eine längere Motorradtour unternehmen, um zu versuchen, neue Stabilität zu gewinnen. Unterwegs begegnet er der attraktiven Kathleen, mit der er sich anfreundet. Doch die Gemeinsamkeit der beiden wird brutal unterbrochen, als die Gangster Cruz und Wilson nach einem Überfall auf einen Getränkeladen zwei Polizisten erschießen und Kathleen als Geisel mit sich nehmen. Wie sich herausstellt, handelt es sich bei den beiden Verbrechern um geflohene Sträflinge, die offenbar nach der verschwunden gebliebenen 1 Million-Dollar-Beute eines bewaffneten Raubüberfalls suchen, der sie vor einiger Zeit ins Gefängnis gebracht hatte. Crockett nimmt die Verfolgung der brandgefährlichen und skrupellosen Sträflinge auf, um Kathleen aus ihrer Gewalt zu befreien. Die Verfolgung wird für den Vice Cop zu einem Höllentrip...
