    Beschreibung

    Travis Bickle hat in Vietnam gekämpft und kann seine Erlebnisse nicht vergessen. Er schläft kaum und während er sein Geld nachts als Taxifahrer verdient, gibt er sich Gewaltfantasien hin. Erst als er Betsy trifft, kann er sich plötzlich ein anderes Leben vorstellen. Doch ihr erstes Date wird ein Reinfall und Travis startet seinen eigenen Krieg.
