    Beschreibung

    Der junge Dr. Shaun Murphy ist ein ausgesprochen guter Chirurg und hat eine brillante Intuition in medizinischen Fragen. Da er ein Autist mit Inselbegabung ist, sind seine sozialen Fähigkeiten allerdings eingeschränkt. Als er eine Stelle in der Pädiatrie eines angesehenen Krankenhauses im kalifornischen San José annimmt, sind die Verantwortlichen dort trotz seines großen Könnens nicht sicher, ob er richtig am Platz ist: Eine junge Patientin, die Teenie-Pornodarstellerin ist, gibt Shaun zu denken ...
